From treating acne to eliminating dandruff, we are presenting you 10 fantastic uses of Aspirin that you probably didn’t know.
1. Acne Treatment
Aspirin has anti-inflammatory features, which makes it great for eliminating acnes. Crush 2-3 aspirin pills and mix them with lemon juice. Apply the mixture on the acne and let it stay for there for several minutes. Avoid this method before you go out and expose to the sun.
2. Mosquito Bites
Aspiring helps in lowering the swellings and it calms the itchiness caused by insect bites. All you need to do is soak an aspirin in water and place it on the bite.
3. Skin Whitening
Aspirin contains ingredients which are usually used in the production of creams for whitening and cleaning the skin. Mix together 7 crushed aspirins, 3 tablespoons yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey.
Apply the mixture on a clean face and let it stay for 15 minutes. Your skin will have that glowing look, the pores won’t be clogged, and the spots and scars will be a lot less noticeable. Gradually, your skin will start to peel and the spots will go away.
4. Eliminate Dandruff
If you want to get rid of dandruff, mix 2 crushed aspirins with the amount of shampoo you usually apply and wash your hair with it.
5. Eliminate Dead Skin Cells
Aspirin is excellent for removing dead skin cells from the face, for lowering grease, and decreasing pores. Mix a crushed aspirin with a little bit of water, apply it on your face and leave it for several minutes. If you have a sensitive skin, apply it carefully so that you avoid irritating your skin.
6. Removing Hard Calluses
Aspirin helps to soften your feet and eliminates dead cells from the skin. Crush 7 aspirins and add 1/5 tablespoon of lemon juice – the mixture should be like a paste. Apply it on the foot and cover with a hot towel. Leave it on for 10 minutes, and then scrape them with a pumice stone.
7. Healthy and Shiny Hair
Your hair will also benefit from using aspirin. For a healthy and shiny hair, put 10 aspirin pills in a cup of hot water and apply this to a washed, clean hair. Leave it on around 15 minutes, and then rinse with water.
8. Remove Sweat Stains
Melt an aspirin in warm water, apply on the sweat stains and leave them through the night. Wash your clothes afterward (like you usually wash it).
9. Clean the Filth from the Bathtub
Crush 5 aspirins and add them to the bathroom cleaner. Sprinkle this liquid on the bathtub and leave it for half an hour. Then, using a towel, you can easily remove the filth.
10. Prolong the Lifespan of Flowers
Your flowers, fresh from the garden, will last longer in a vase if you add a crushed aspirin in the water. This little trick works particularly well with roses, says the Bright Side.
