If you’re one of those people who easily gets the flu (like me, for example), this information will brighten your day. There is a modest, yet extremely powerful recipe for a homemade syrup that only takes about 20 minutes to be prepared. This elixir relieves sinuses, heals cough, cold and flu in a record time, and kids can use it too!

Here is what you’ll need:

Garlic, Honey, Lemon Juice

Why Garlic?

Garlic helps strengthen the immune system, works as a natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, and expectorant (it helps loosen up mucous so you can cough it up.)

Why Honey?

Honey is great for soothing itchy and irritated throats. It is especially helpful if you have a dry cough.

Honey is also a natural anti-viral and anti-bacterial ingredient.

Why Lemon Juice?

Lemon juice contains high levels of Vitamin C. It also has antibacterial and antiviral properties. A combination of vitamin C and the antimicrobial properties make lemon useful for coughs.

Ingredients:

– ½ cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
– ½ cup water
– ½ cup raw honey
– 5 large cloves of garlic – minced or pressed

Instructions:

Mix the ingredients together thoroughly (I just put everything in the blender), store the mixture in a container with a tightly fitting lid and keep it fresh in the fridge.

Take the syrup as much as necessary, but not more than a teaspoon every half hour.

This Honey & Garlic syrup is also known as Fire Cider. You can find it pre-made from many small natural companies.

May you and your family not need this syrup, but if you do, may healing happen quickly.
