This Oil Heals The Prostate, Lowers Cholesterol, Strengthens the Heart, and Stops Hair Loss

When we think about pumpkins, the first things that come to mind are Halloween decorations or the ingredients for the perfect pie, but pumpkins have other uses too. Pumpkin seed oil, for example, provides tremendous health benefits.

At first, we want to talk a little about its nutritional profile.

This, in many ways precious oil, is full of vitamins and anti-inflammatory agencies, along with linoleic and oleic acid.

Moreover, pumpkin seed oil is actually an unsaturated fat, meaning it’s the “good” kind of fat. Unsaturated fats promote a healthy heart!

A study conducted on animals found that pumpkin seed oil not only helped lower cholesterol, but also had anti-inflammatory effects.

Pumpkin seed oil is high in vitamin E, especially the gamma-tocopherol form, which is a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It is also a good source of vitamin K, which helps regulate calcium metabolism and beta carotene for vitamin A and more antioxidant protection. It also contains Vitamins from the B group, minerals (phosphor, calcium, magnesium, potassium), as well as some traces of iron, zinc and manganese.

Furthermore, it has lecithin, proteins and salicylic acid.

Pumpkin Seed Oil helps with many health issues. Some of which are the following:

How to use the Pumpkin Seed Oil to exploit its therapeutic powers?

There are two ways to take pumpkin seed oil. In 1000mg capsules, which are more convenient and portable, or by the teaspoon from a bottle, which is usually better value and more delicious (if you like the taste.)

Studies seem to suggest a dosage of at least 1000mg twice a day for a therapeutic benefit. This isn’t much though. I personally take it by teaspoon, which is approximately 4000mg, twice a day.

You should consume the oil for at least 3 months, 2 teaspoons – twice a day (after breakfast and dinner to improve absorption of both its nutrients and those present in the foods as well.)

It’s important to note that you shouldn’t disrupt the therapy in the first few weeks. Even though the symptoms will most likely begin to disappear, you should continue with the therapy during the upcoming 6 months, if there’s any need of it.

With cases of enlarged prostate, the symptoms of the disease will start to fade in a couple of days or weeks, because this oil has antibacterial impacts which will efficiently stop the inflammatory process. However, this doesn’t mean that the process of enlarged prostate itself is stopped.

This requires a longer period of time, so be patient with it.

Important note: In case you suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia, it would be best to consult your doctor first before you decide to use the pumpkin seed oil in therapeutic means.

Usage of the Pumpkin Seed Oil as preventive care: 1 teaspoon twice a day (one after breakfast and the other one after dinner.)

You should keep the oil in a dark, cold place and make sure that the bottle is closed firmly. Once you’ve opened it, it’s best to keep it in the fridge.

The pumpkin seed oil is also used in cosmetics – the pharmaceutical industry has started using it massively creating skin care and healing products. Thanks to all of its anti-inflammatory features, the oil helps with acne.

It can also be used for cooking and salads. It goes great when combined with vegetables, fish, mushrooms, pasta and meat.
